Air Conditioning Installation

The decision was made to replace and upgrade the air conditioning at the Landmark Resort! Every unit at the resort will enjoy a new Mitsubishi split-duct AC/heat pump system. Installation is underway, and will be completed by the end of May, 2013.

After years of study and evaluation, the Board authorized the installation of the Mitsubishi system. There was significant interest by HVAC contractors in bidding on the installation. Guilette - out of Sturgeon Bay - consulted on the project, and ultimately won the bid. The Landmark Resort Board has been extremely pleased with Guilette's responsiveness, the quality of the installation of the demonstration units, and, perhaps most importantly, its final bid.

The resort's guests will experience a marked improvement in comfort. Everyone at the resort is excited about the new air conditioning system.

The new A/C units have a remote control for operation.
Beside low energy usage, the new A/C units are extremely quiet in operation.
Installation in 294 units is a big job.
Plenty of finish work to do - inside and out.
Once the old unit is removed, the hole needs to be patched.
