The Landmark Resort was named "Best Lodging" by the readers of Door County Magazine in the publication's 2011 "Best of Door County" balloting. The resort has won every lodging category offered in the magazine's annual competition since 2006.
Midwest Golfing Magazine has named Door County the "Best Weekend Getaway" in the publication's 6th Annual Editor's Choice Awards. The announcement came in the magazine's Fall 2011 issue. In selecting Door County as the best weekend getaway, the magazine stated "Wisconsin's distinctive finger is an open door to golfing excellence."
Number one in Door County. Readers responding to the "Best of 2009" survey conducted by Door County Magazine recognized the Landmark Resort as providing the "Best Customer Service" in the publication's annual "Best of Door County" balloting.
The Landmark Resort was the top vote getter in the "Best Family Lodging" category for Door County Magazine's annual "Best of Door County" recognition in 2009. Each year the publication features different categories. Landmark did exceptionally well in 2009, winning all three categories in which it was eligible.
The Carrington Pub & Grill won the "Best Meal Deal" category in the 2009 balloting for the "Best of Door County" competition. Again, this was a Door County Magazine selection.
The Landmark Resort was named one of the "Top Ten Wedding Locations in Wisconsin" by Resorts & Lodges (2010).
The Landmark Resort has earned the RCI Silver Crown Resort designation for 2008 - 2012
October 9, 2010 - The Landmark Resort took first place in the annual Pumpkin Patch Festival display competition. The resort has taken first or second place for 19 of the last 21 years. The resort took second place in 2012.
Door County earned a nod as one of AOL Travel's best one-night getaways for $150 or less. "In reality, a one-night getaway doesn't have to break the bank," says the article. "We've found ten destinations where you can spend $150 or less a day, and still feel like you're a world away from the harsh realities of everyday life." Door County earned a place along Albuquerque, NM, Pensacola, FL, Boston, Fort Worth, Las Vegas, and several others.
Readers responding to the "Best of 2006" survey conducted by Door County Magazine recognized the Landmark Resort in the "Best Night's Stay" category. Results were published in the Winter 2006/07 issue of the magazine.

Door County was named one of the "Top Ten" Small Towns in America by Fodor's Travel (March, 2013). Midwest Living magazine called Door County one of the 25 best places to catch fall color in its latest edition. "In fall," the mag writes, "as foliage turns fiery red and orange, the quaint maritime villages of Sturgeon Bay, Egg Harbor, Fish Creek, Ephraim and Sister Bay look all the more like New England."

In the 2010 "Best of Door County" polling, the Village of Egg Harbor was voted the "Best Shopping Experience" as well as the "Best Fireworks" by the readers of Door County Magazine.
